Organization

The laboratory has an interdisciplinary character, and the structure of the LOBIS primarily includes experts in the scientific and teaching position from assistant professor to full professor in the field of biotechnical sciences, more precisely food technology, as well as postdocs, doctoral students / assistants and in the future researchers in the field of biotechnical sciences – biotechnology. The Head of the laboratory is professor Predrag Putnik, PhD senior research associate with numerous years of experience and international recognition in the field of biotechnical sciences. Furthermore, in performing tasks and cooperation of a technical nature, the LOBIS closely cooperates with other laboratories and departments of the University Vigo and University North, with responsible persons for environmental protection, and all other stakeholders who actively, purposefully and stimulatingly contribute to the work of the LOBIS. The laboratory has external associates from higher educational institutions at home and abroad, industry, institutes and politics.
